Meet Randy L. Kellogg

I am a proud native of the Minneapolis Metro area. Growing up in Hopkins, I was the local paper boy, spending my summers playing baseball and my winters playing hockey. Just your typical kid from Minnesota!

In 1981, I graduated from Hopkins Eisenhower High School. That summer, I began work at Supervalu Corporate Headquarters in Eden Prairie. I was employed there for 22 years, spending the last eleven years in management.

You might be wondering, why leave the safety of a great career and benefits to get into real estate? The answer: Passion.

In 1987, I began the process of buying my first home. I enjoyed everything about it and was extremely happy and proud of my purchase. Five years later I found myself looking again, buying a home in Eden Prairie. During this time, I started researching a career in real estate and decided that my passion for real estate far outweighed any risk that comes with a career change. I once read a quote that said, If you keep waiting for the right time, you may never begin. Begin Now! Begin where you are with what you are. Shortly thereafter, I obtained my real estate license, resigned from Corporate America and couldn't be happier with my decision!

I have a passion for the real estate process and thoroughly enjoy helping people come to realize their dreams of the perfect home! I believe my having lived my entire life in the Metro Area allows me to bring a great deal of knowledge and experience when working with my clients. My satisfaction is found in the smiles of the people I work with.

I have a terrific son Tyler (Age 14).  This little man means the world to me.  He deals with the day to day challenges of having Type 1 Diabetes.  His positive attitude is simply amazing.  He is an inspiration, that's for sure.  I call him "My little Hero"...  And let's not forget, he's a fabulous cook, loves comedy, sports, and now "Girls" and simply just hanging with friends.  He's the best friend a person could have.  He is ALWAYS caring for others..  I love you buddy !!

In my spare time, I play softball, and enjoy golfing and boating, attending Twins, Vikings, T-wolves and Wild games. During the summer months, I coach for the Eden Prairie Baseball Association. Having a son with Type One Diabetes, I am also a volunteer for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
